Do my glasses make my nose look big?
I am new to this and was hesitant using a photo for my avatar but I need advice. I was recently diagnosed with presbyopia and prescribed glasses. The optician assured me that these were the best fit for my facial features but I am very self conscious and am not sure if they they are right for me. I thought a square framed style would be better. Any advice is appreciated.

I don’t normally answer under this section, but anyhow I don’t think it matters. I’m not here to preach about how looks mean nothing, but just to let you know look way better with glasses than this relative of mine. Be glad. I would suppose a squared frame suits you better.

Scleral expansion bands, which increase the space between the ciliary body and lens, have not been found to provide predictable or consistent results in the treatment of presbyopia.

Recently diagnosed??? When was this picture taken–in the 70’s or 80’s? No company has made glasses that big since then. They look like my grampa’s glasses and yeah, they still make your nose look big if you’re still wearing them!! : o
