Should the elderly over 70 be required to pass a reactionary test to drive?
They can be deadly just because of the aging process. The next victim of the elderly could be you or your kid.

A breathalyzer determines if a drunk’s ability to drive is impaired. It would seem a reactionary test would determine if the easterly’s ability to drive is impaired.

Yes they should. Either yearly or every two years. Your reaction time slows dramatically as you age, they should have to prove themselves worthy of a license.
My great uncle is 95, can barely walk and has trouble seeing and hearing, yet still has a valid drivers licence. He doesn’t drive though, he voluntarily gave it up when he blacked out by a pool one day, but not all old people are willing to give up the right to drive so easily.
hell i say make everybody pass that test to make us all safer!!!
Yes. ..and kids under 25 should be tested monthly.
Yes, no question. It’s not a matter of age discrimination.
A disabled person needs to pass a special test to ensure they’re fit to drive safely, and when a person becomes older their reactions and judgement become slower.
Yes. They require periodic vision exams over a certain age. I don’t see why they shouldn’t be able to require proof of cognitive function.
What about the 16-yr. olds. And the people texting, talking etc. And then one of my elderly parents (who drive very well) could be the victim of someones kid, or a texter……………
I think Democrats should have to. Aren’t they the ones pushing to get Marijuana legalized?
